Mutton Saji recipe


 

Ingredients:


1 whole lamb or goat

1 cup of yogurt

2 tablespoons of red chili powder

2 tablespoons of turmeric powder

2 tablespoons of coriander powder

2 tablespoons of cumin powder

1 tablespoon of black pepper powder

1 tablespoon of salt

1 tablespoon of garlic paste

1 tablespoon of ginger paste

1 cup of lemon juice

2 cups of cooking oil



Instructions:


Clean and wash the lamb or goat thoroughly and then pat it dry.


In a bowl, mix the yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt, garlic paste, ginger paste, and lemon juice to make a marinade.


Rub the marinade all over the lamb or goat and let it sit for at least 2-3 hours, or overnight if possible.


Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).


Place the lamb or goat on a roasting pan and pour the cooking oil over it.


Roast the lamb or goat in the preheated oven for 3-4 hours, or until the meat is tender and cooked through.


Serve the Balochi Saji hot with rice
